   Applications must be submitted preferably by electronic means from Gencat Procedures.

   Local bodies must submit the application by electronic means through the extranet of the Catalan public administrations, EACAT

   In person

   Face-to-face application to submit candidature to the Premi Internacional Catalunya.

   The form must be downloaded, filled in, printed (important: always fill it in before printing) and submitted to the Technical Secretariat of the Premi Internacional Catalunya (Plaça Sant Jaume, 4, 08003 Barcelona).

   The form can be submitted in any of the places and by the means established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations. If you choose to submit the form to a post office, it must be made in an open envelope so that the application can be dated and stamped by the post office official before being certified.

   Mandatory documentation to submit with the application:

   • Curriculum.
   • Nomination letter.

   • How is notice given of the awarding of the prize?
     The panel of judges for the prize – composed of major figures from the worlds of science, economics, the arts and culture – will meet to study all the candidacies and will choose three of them as finalists.

   All the members will subsequently meet up again to have the final vote and award the International Catalunya Prize. The grant agreement must be adopted by simple majority of votes cast.

   When announcing the verdict of the jury, communicates the proponents who have received the award by email.

   • How is the prize-giving ceremony held?
     The final result will be announced and the prize awarded at a ceremony hosted by the President of the Government of Catalonia.
