Do you have a physical, sensory, communication and speech, intellectual disability and/or a disability resulting from a mental disorder?
The Generalitat de Catalunya promotes the autonomy and improvement of the quality of life of people with disabilities with the aim of achieving their full integration in political, social, economic and cultural activity.
How can we help you?
Recognition of degree of disability and disability card
If you are assessed to have a degree of disability of 33% or more and you reside in Catalonia, you are guaranteed access to Social Services Portfolio resources, such as recognition and/or a card.
Recognition of degree of disability takes the form of an administrative document that certifies the disability and facilitates access to various rights, services, programmes and benefits.
The disability card substantiates the degree of disability in an agile and practical way, before third parties, in order to facilitate access to resources and services to which you are entitled in Spain.
Services
We also offer information, guidance and assessment, personal autonomy centre and home care services, action plans, adapted transport plans, and many others.
At any time, you can request access to the at-home autonomy support service, to help with daily activities, both at home and in the community.
We highlight the Sirius personal autonomy centre, a free information and advice service for personal autonomy and accessibility of the environment, which operates under the Generalitat de Catalunya.
